Tunkhannock's Family Friendly Yearly Events
June: Founders' Day (Saturday after Father's Day). A day-long celebration of our heritage. We close the main street and feature local crafts, arts, music, and food specialties.
October: Airing of the Quilts (first Saturday in October). A day to remember as historic and artistic quilts adorn the entire town creating an open air pageantry of beauty and talent.
December: Christmas in Our Hometown (first full weekend in December). A weekend of old-fashioned Christmas joy held throughout downtown Tunkhannock. Horse drawn wagon rides, living windows and strolling carolers make the magic of the season come alive. |
